“The best-quality performances, the cradle of Suwon culture and art!The Suwon City Performance Company was founded in July 2015 through the collaboration between a troupe with acting and musical talents and 24 Martial Arts Performance Group. Suwon is proud of this group for embracing the spirit of King Jeongjo's royal guard unit, Jang Yong Young, in Suwon Hwaseong, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The Suwon City Performance Company has been beloved by Suwon citizens for creating and distributing new types of cultural content while taking the lead in the Korean culture and arts community.

The show is a non-verbal performance that reconstructs the stories of various characters, including King Jeongjo and his royal guard unit, Jang Yong Young, 24 Martial Arts, and Baek Dong-soo, in the form of “semi-fiction” (a combination of true and fictional stories).
